Keith at Absolute Martial Arts in St. Louis commissioned us to create another web video for his business. In it you'll learn the questions to ask before selecting a school to learn mixed martial arts. A MMA class combines Muay Thai kickboxing and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Keith says after this high intensity cardiovascular workout you're guaranteed to leave class soaked with sweat!

The Perfect "Squeeze Page" Video

We just created a compelling squeeze page video for Internet marketing guru, Fabian Tan. It combines all the attributes of a successful squeeze (free offer, "but wait there's more...," and a hint of controversy - Murder Your Job).

Fabian is ranked as one of the top five Asian marketers. He has spread his offers globally (how about 5,000 ezine articles!). His ventures include affiliate marketing, information marketing, and joint ventures with other Internet marketing gurus.

Moving On from a Failed Relationship

It's always good to start the new year with positive motivational messages. And that's what we helped Winston Henry create. Based on his article "Moving On from a Failed Relationship," the video makes the point that you shouldn't forget the good times you had with your ex. But it's important to acknowledge the reason for the break-up, and then start focusing on yourself.

The Heart-Healthy Avocado?

When you think of healthy foods you don't normally think of avocados. But maybe you should! According to a video I just produced for www.all-about-lowering-cholesterol.com, the avocado can actually help you reduce your cholesterol level.

Although the avocado is high in fat, it's mostly mono-unsaturated fat (the good kind that helps lower cholesterol). The government recently revised its nutrition guidelines, and now encourages Americans to eat more avocados.

A Service Station Where It's Needed

A company in Saskatchewan, Canada has a great idea for remote or small communities who don't have a gas station. It's a self-contained, unattended service station that can be drop-shipped to a site and set up in days. It's the Ghost Station from AGI Envirotank.

They've installed about 40 of these true "self-service" gas stations across Canada. It's a real life-saver for small towns that have lost their only gas station. Jeff from AGI shot some great handheld video that I combined with product photos to explain the concept.

Multimedia to the Max

We just shipped the master discs for another financial course for Wealthpire, Inc. The Last Hour Trading course consists of five DVDs, five audio CDs, and two printed volumes. It's based on the book by Josh Hawes, and we incorporated webcam interviews with Josh to enhance the content.

We did editing and layout for the two volumes of the book, recorded voiceover, created graphics, edited the videos, authored the DVDs, and even created the artwork for the packaging (I guess we did it all - except for developing this unique method for trading stocks during the last hour of the trading day).

Real Relief

A medical practitioner contacted us about creating a DVD mailer. We worked with him on the script, recorded voiceover, and edited the video.  
The video featured interviews with patients and the tag line: Real People. Real Pain. Real Relief.  Here's an excerpt from the DVD:

We just finished another video for CloudNine Lifestyle. This one for an herbal remedy for insomnia. The video combines stock video and photos with my voiceover and graphics. I'd tell you more about it, but I feel a nap coming on...

NetPicks wanted to generate some excitement prior to the product launch, so I worked with their marketing specialist, Suzanne, to create this video:

Getting Back to my Roots

I got my start in voiceovers back in the late '70s. I was working at a radio station in Daytona Beach when I got a call from a local military contractor. They hired me to record narration for their training videos. (If you were training to be a naval aviator in that period, I'm sure you suffered through some of them.)

This week I returned to my roots by recording voiceover for a training video on how to operate a cool piece of equipment that picks up shipping containers and loads them in aircraft. The script was so well written that I feel I could operate the "CLT Dolly Set" sight unseen.

Trading Stock Options

My financial education continues, thanks to Manny Backus at Wealthpire. I'm creating a new multimedia course for Manny, based on a book he wrote about trading stock options. I'm producing a series of DVDs and audio CDs designed for those just getting started in trading options. Options present an opportunity for higher profits than trading the underlying stocks, but at a higher level of risk.

Unlock and Share the Memories

We just finished a marketing video for our friends at Honestech, Inc. in Austin, Texas. The spot promotes the latest version of their consumer electronics product that converts old VHS tapes to DVD (and now Blu-ray discs too). If you'd like to see how it works, I'll be demonstrating the product on the QVC network next Saturday morning (June 20th).

The folks at Honestech shot the HD footage for the spot, and we recorded the voiceover, created the animated titles, and edited the video. The clip was designed to take advantage of the high-def video player now available on YouTube:

Recording Studio Summer Camp!

I wish someone would have offered this when I was a kid. Instead I hammered leather to make were supposed to be wallets.

JT of the Music Technology Tour hired me to do the voiceover for a video to promote the summer camp he runs out of his recording studio in Maryland. I now consider my career complete. I finally had the opportunity to say "the first 150 families get a free tub of worms." It was in a voiceover for a spot for the Missouri Department of Conservation being created by Wooly Bugger Productions.

Here's another genre that I've always wanted to create a video for: the faux news report of an amazing scientific breakthrough.
